Over the last 15 years Turner has been a coach and mentor to countless young athletes at the Division I level. With extensive playing and coaching experience, Turner brings a fresh perspective and innovative ideas to our school. Turner Battle was one of the nation's top point guards when he joined the UB Bulls basketball team from 2001-2005. Not only was Battle the leader of the UB team that advanced to the MAC Championship game and the school's first NIT bid, Battle also helped establish Alumni Arena as one of the hardest places to win in the MAC. Among countless awards and feats, he has most recently been awarded with his jersey retirement in University at Buffalo’s Alumni Arena in 2024.
