Dear Fellow Alumni, As we head into a new year, I think a time of reflection is upon us. What lessons learned at Park—or themes of kindness, caring, and curiosity—can you apply to your own life? I can say that I will try to be kinder, listen more, argue less. I will try to consider, maybe even learn from, your point of view rather than trying to impose my own. I will strive to engage in acts of caring—maybe volunteer, contribute to a cause, help a friend—in my daily life. I resolve to learn something new this year— maybe take a class, read a book on an unfamiliar topic, make a new friend. I know that Park instills values, ethics, and morals in all of us alumni. I would love to hear how you share the Park philosophy out in the world in this new year and beyond. Please feel free to drop your reflections back to me and I will share with others in the Park community as well. In closing, I was thrilled when Seamus Gallivan '96, Park's new (and first-ever) Alumni Engagement Coordinator, was hired. Seamus has been working hard to improve Park's communication with alumni and to bring more alums back to the school, whether that's through attending Alumni Socials, touring campus, mentoring a current student, or planning for Reunion 2025. Keep an eye out for more exciting updates from Seamus and me soon. Wishing peace, good health, and happiness to all in the new year! Sincerely, Harry Lipsitz '10 Alumni Association President ALUMNI UPDATES, EVENTS, AND NEWS Pictured: Members of the Class of 1999 gathered at Park in June 2024 for their 25th reunion. The class took an informal tour of Hamlin Hall and reported that it brought back fond memories and smelled the same! 23
